Chrysler to Study Advanced Powertrains in Canada

Chrysler LLC has entered a 5-year, $18.2 partnership with McMaster with funding support the Canadian government, to develop energy-efficient, high-performance electrified and powertrain components.

The partnership was today by the Honourable Greg Canada’s Minister of State for and Technology. It will see Chrysler invest $9.25 million in and in-kind contributions, with an $8.93 million coming the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC), the agency within Automotive Canada (APC), an initiative supports industry research at universities and government laboratories.
