Mahindra Mahindra Ltd. (MM) will make its presence felt at the upcoming 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo with a wide range of vehicles and technologies. The company, which is best known for its Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), will take the cover off its Ssangyong vehicles and display its electric cars, the vehicles of the future.

Talking about the motor show, Dr. Pawan Goenka, President, Automotive and Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra Mahindra, said, The Delhi Auto Expo is the perfect platform to showcase Mahindra’s commitment to technological advancements and innovative automotive solutions that are showcased in our gamut of vehicles from two wheelers to heavy trucks. Our eco-friendly vehicles are proof of our commitment to a cleaner environment, fuel efficiency and emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Mahindra’s Sustainable Mobility Solutions illustrate our commitment to the research, product development and advancement of the most cutting-edge technologies to bring about a cleaner and greener tomorrow.

He also commented, Mahindra’s in-built principles of Trust and Innovation are fundamental to the popularity of our vehicles with customers in India and around the world and is quite evident from the overwhelming response to our much awaited SUV, the XUV5OO in addition to the steady growth of our core models such as Scorpio, Bolero and Xylo.

Mahindra’s acquisition of Ssangyong Motors has stimulated the interest of Indian buyers in the world-class range that the Korean manufacturer possesses. In order to satiate the consumers, MM will put Ssangyong Rexton and Korando E on display at its stall at the Auto Expo, before launching them in India.

The Rexton is the perfect embodiment of Ssangyong’s off-road strengths, delivering exceptional all-weather, all-terrain and best-in-class towing capabilities. On the other hand, Korando E is a compact crossover that has been developed on a new monocoque platform. The car boasts of contemporary design and advanced technologies that result of the perfect combination of Ssangyong’s engineering prowess and modern European designing.

Apart from these, MM will also exhibit its new electric vehicle, Mahindra Reva NXR. The NXR will be the future of mobility, appealing to auto aficionados as well as technocrats alike. The company will also unveil the electric variant of its Verito, a sedan.

The electric version of the sedan will be prized by those who cherish performance yet wish to adopt green measures to support the environment. Both these cars will reflect Mahindra’s ethos, which has been one of the reasons of the company’s success.

Apart from these, Mahindra’s range at the Auto Expo will also include its wildly popular XUV500 as well as Scorpio, Bolero, Genio Double Cabin and Thar. The company, in conjunction with its subsidiaries, will also exhibit its two-wheeler and MHCV vehicles in its line-up at the mega event.
