Do I my investment on electric cars? No, Ghosn told reporters at the Motor Show.

Nissan and combined have so far sold 120,000 electric vehicles they first brought one to three years ago.

But the difficulties with recharging which Ghosn blamed as the key hobbling electric vehicles’ rather than any technical foretell an even more challenge for fuel cell he said.

Both Toyota Corp and Honda Motor Co to start selling fuel vehicles around 2015.

I don’t know how they are to do it, because knowing all the problems we to have a charging system electricity, where is the hydrogen Ghosn said.

That’s why we postponed, in a certain way, of our ambitions in terms of fuel

Fuel-cell cars chemically hydrogen to electricity to power the emitting only water as a waste product. Unlike vehicles which can be recharged home as well as charging fuel-cell cars must at refilling stations.

Battery-powered electric however, also have a limited range — the goes at most 230 km (143 on a single charge — and can hours to recharge. Fuel-cell can refuel within minutes and more than double distance, roughly on par with gasoline-powered cars.
