The Italians will be showcasing the newly launched Alfa Mito TwinAir on their stand as well as several rock concerts featuring Tim Burgess and Mark Collins of the Charlatans as well as the Steve Craddock Band.

Bentley will be displaying the EXP 9 F SUV that was shown at Geneva earlier this year. Alongside that the new Continental GT V8 will be on show as well as running up the hill. Then there’s the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification, a pack that makes the Mulsanne more driver focused.

A brand new model will also be launched at the show. Bentley’s racing heritage has not been forgotten, as the 2003 Le Mans winning Speed 8 and ‘Birkin Blower’ of the 1920s will be running up the course.

BMW will take the opportunity to show off the new M6 Coupe and M6 Cabriolet. There will also be a celebration stand to 40 years of M with unique examples of some of the finest M models over the years.

The prancing horse will take the opportunity to display its new road cars, including the 458 Spider, FF and the lighter and more powerful California. The 2010 F1 Ferrari car will be demonstrating throughout the weekend as well.

Ford’s display will be dominated by the launch of the new Focus ST. There will also be multiple Ford powered cars running up the hill.

Honda is setting a new challenge that will allow participants to navigate a remote controlled Civic on the Hill Climb by using real steering and pedal controls to pit their skills against Honda BTCC drivers.

Then Honda has set up a 20-metre lawnmower course for visitors to set lap times in.

The main launch though will be the Civic Mugen Concpet that will be on display alongside the BTCC cars.

The Infiniti EMERG-E will be the headline act for the Infiniti brand as it will be seen in action for the very first time taking a trip up the hill. They’ve also brought Red Bull drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel along to try out the ‘Vettel Edition’ Infiniti FX on the hill.

The prototype sports car Jaguar calls the F-TYPE will make its debut, albeit in a developmental stage, but will still run up the hill in the hands of Jaguar’s Mike Cross (head of vehicle integrity).

The F-TYPE is powered by a supercharged V6 or V8 engine and will likely be on sale sometime late in 2013.

Following the recent announcement of a strategic partnership between Land Rover and Bowler, the rally raid motorsport specialists, Land Rover branded Bowlers will be on display. Bowler will also be thrashing its Range Rover sport-based EXR rally raid car on the off road loop.

Mazda is set to release a concept MX-5 GT for the hill run, the aim being to gauge public reaction of a more powerful, sports tuned MX-5. Joining the MX-5 GT on the Mazda stand are the Takeri – likely to influence the design of the new Mazda 6 and the newly launched CX-5 compact SUV.

Last year Nissan set a record for driving the Goodwood course in a Nissan Juke, on two wheels. This year they plan to do something similarly entertaining in a Nissan Leaf as they attempt to set a record for reversing the Leaf up the hill.

FIA GT1 world champion Michael Krumm will be driving a GT1 race car spec GT-R up the hill, possibly fighting for overall honours in the event.

The Juke-R will be on display; they can now be ordered but only if the price is right. If it’s not, then NISMO will be showing its tweaked version of the hatch-crossover, with more power and upgraded parts.

The French manufacturer will be bringing a host of concepts and newly launched vehicles to this year’s event. The six-seater HX1 concept will be displayed alongside the new 208 GTI concept.

Then there is a corner donated to the diesel-electric hybrids that Peugeot has, including the 3008 Hybrid4 and the 508 RXH.

On the actual climb, Peugeot will have the ‘Pikes Peak 405 T16 and the RCZ ‘Nurburgring’ which has won its class for the past two years

The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car driven by Daniel Lloyd joins the 1962 Porsche 804 F1 car, the 917K from 1970 and 1987 Le Mans-winning 962 Group C racer on the roll call of Porsche racing machinery coming to Goodwood.

The Renault Alpine A110-50 concept car will be on show, to celebrate 50th anniversary of iconic A110 Berlinette, plus a 100% electric ZOE supermini. Running the hillclimb include: Type-K, rally-winning R5 Maxi Turbo and RS01 Formula 1 car.

There is also an unnamed surprise that Renault will introduce at the show.

Having recently launched the V40 internationally, Volvo will be displaying the five-door hatch at the show. Also on the stand is a V60 with the world’s first plug-in diesel hybrid. The V60 D6 AWD as it is known has the front wheels powered by a five-cylinder 2.4-litre diesel that puts out 160kW in conjunction with 440Nm of torque. The rear wheels are then powered by a 52kW electric motor.

The car can be driven in full electric mode for 50km, hybrid mode where the two power units work together to ensure ultimate efficiency or finally power mode, where both engines pump out maximum power combining their power outputs to make 212kW and 640Nm and propel the diesel-electric to 100kph in 6.2 seconds.
